Water and the client (Hairstylist)
As a hairstylist, the client uses a lot of liquid including water in his home, and specifically in his work. In a sense, the usage of water is comparable to like a ritual practice in using it as liquid to transform and change hair from form and colour of hair. With the client in mind, the use of water in this case is represented as a transforming aspect as well as purification aspect in his business.
Water in this sense can be defined as a substance that acts a mover, a transformer, and a carrier.

In this sense, water can be define as a permeating medium that acts as a purifier. The act of purification entails cleansing, carrying, and transporting other mediums both physically and intangibly. The action of cleansing, carrying, and transporting is what makes water a subtance of change.
